Another verse I have been meditating on is Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.” As thoughts began to flood in of medical bills, pain, and weakness, this quote came to mind: “Is God any less able to meet our needs today than yesterday. No! Circumstances may change but God does not!” In Nahum 1:7 we read “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble: and he knoweth them that trust in Him.” Neither His provisions nor His goodness ever change, because God does not change. My dad used to quote this little poem.
